FANTASY-DRAMA, M/M DIALOGUE, 3rd PERSON. The excerpt depicts the breakout of a fight between two aggressive men with different British accents (RP and Cockney). It reveals the narrator’s ability to express exciting action and strong emotion within dialogue.
1st PERSON COMMENTARY. The narrator expresses sarcastic, deadpan comedy with a steady, but lively voice and great comic timing.
ROMANCE, M/F DIALOGUE, 1st PERSON. Besides indicating the narrator’s ability with male-female dialogue and a French accent, the excerpt also displays her powerful range of subtle emotional expressions using a soft, smooth tone.
SCIENCE FICTION, MULTIPLE VOICES, 3rd PERSON. This is a conference phone call among a dozen speakers of various nationalities and personalities and both genders. It demonstrates the narrator’s character versatility.
MEMOIRS, M/M DIALOGUE, 1st PERSON. The excerpt reveals emotional nuances of both nostalgia and enthusiasm, as well as utilizes two British accents (RP and Yorkshire), with the compelling style of a storyteller.
